Scanning

Any phone camera resolves a leidang label: the QR points at go.leidang.app, which redirects to your organization's scan page. Signed in, you land on the item (or the assignment flow for a fresh sticker). The in-app scanner at /scan is faster for real work — full-screen camera, torch toggle, and manual code entry for stickers too scuffed to scan.

Batch mode

The tray is what makes two hundred scans in a load-out bearable: pick an action once, then keep scanning — each hit stacks into the tray and the action applies per scan.

  • Assign codes to items (label-binding runs)
  • Move to a location
  • Check out / check in
  • Count into an open stocktake
  • Record a meter reading

What a stranger sees

Anyone who finds a labelled item can scan it. What they see is your organization's choice (Admin → Public scan):

LevelUnauthenticated scanners see
offA sign-in prompt. Nothing else.
identifyYour organization's name, logo, and contact line — "this belongs to…". The default.
basicIdentify, plus the fields you toggle on: item name, photo, category, asset tag, status.
Value, serial number, location, borrower, history, notes, and custom fields are never shown publicly — regardless of settings. Public pages are rate-limited and kept out of search engines.
