Scanning
Any phone camera resolves a leidang label: the QR points at go.leidang.app, which redirects to your organization's scan page. Signed in, you land on the item (or the assignment flow for a fresh sticker). The in-app scanner at /scan is faster for real work — full-screen camera, torch toggle, and manual code entry for stickers too scuffed to scan.
Batch mode
The tray is what makes two hundred scans in a load-out bearable: pick an action once, then keep scanning — each hit stacks into the tray and the action applies per scan.
- Assign codes to items (label-binding runs)
- Move to a location
- Check out / check in
- Count into an open stocktake
- Record a meter reading
What a stranger sees
Anyone who finds a labelled item can scan it. What they see is your organization's choice (Admin → Public scan):
| Level | Unauthenticated scanners see |
|---|---|
off | A sign-in prompt. Nothing else. |
identify | Your organization's name, logo, and contact line — "this belongs to…". The default. |
basic | Identify, plus the fields you toggle on: item name, photo, category, asset tag, status. |
Value, serial number, location, borrower, history, notes, and custom fields are never shown publicly — regardless of settings. Public pages are rate-limited and kept out of search engines.
